Thanks for stopping by my blog. My new website is in design phase and I hope to get some images posted here soon. In the meantime, here's some information about me and my photography.
I am a mom to three grown children (well as grown as children ever get) and married to the same great guy for 20 years. When you find that person that 'gets you' you better hang on for the ride.
A moment only happens once. There are so many things in life that only happen once. Capturing those moments of time is a priceless family heirloom.
Living with my husband all these years I have learned that a picture is not just a picture. It's a treasure. My husband's family lost what FEW photos there were in a house fire when he was young. (Being of a family of 9 children, there wasn't a lot of photos). I see how much coming across a picture of himself or his family means to him and it makes me sad that I can't go back in time and re-capture all of that for him.
Of course the last 22 years has been spent capturing all the moments of my children's lives. I want to pass down to them and their children the images of the milestones in their lives. Someday they can bring out their scrapbooks and share their stories. Oh and pictures are also really good mom revenge!
Don't put it off.... capture those moments that you live so they can live forever.
